Job summary

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental/Medical Receptionist to join our not-for-profit community health team in Southwestern Ohio. The role focuses on registering patients, verifying insurance, and updating medical records while ensuring compassionate, compliant front-desk service.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register new and established patients and verify insurance eligibility.
• Obtain dental benefit breakdown as needed.
• Update all medical records as needed. This may include consent forms, update databases, insurance information, etc
• Responsible for obtaining and verifying paperwork required by patients.
• Schedule appointments.
• Answer telephones.
• Sort and distribute center mail. Import faxes into Next Gen and route accordingly.
• Demonstrate understanding of HIPAA and age-related rights and responsibilities.
