Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry seeks a Dental Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of dental and laboratory equipment. The role includes ordering supplies, managing inventory, and performing plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs across multiple clinic locations.
Qualified candidates will have at least five years in a dental or similar environment, strong knowledge of dental units, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Dental Mechanic will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of dental equipment for the Kornberg School of Dentistry. This includes hand pieces, the hand piece delivery system, sterilizers, dental chairs, plumbing related to clinical equipment, lab equipment, x‑ray units, and processors. The role also involves ordering supplies, keeping accurate inventory, and performing other duties as assigned.
Hourly rate: $37.06 per hour.
General hours are Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with required schedule flexibility for occasional earlier hours, weekends, or other adjustments.
