Job summary

National Dentex Labs in Topeka, KS is seeking a Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) for a trainee position. No experience is required, and hands-on training is provided to get you started.

The regular hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a full-time role with benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holidays, vacation, and sick time; a 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist
• Disinfect all case components using the appropriate disinfection procedure
• Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
• Number all models and impressions with case numbers
• Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
• Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
• Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions
• Clean work area daily
• All other duties as assigned
