Dental Lab Technician Trainee - Fixed Department

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Lab Technician Trainee in the Fixed Department at NDX Thoele Dental Lab in St. Cloud, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in dental technology with comprehensive training and growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in pouring positive models from impressions supplied by dentists using liquid stone mixture.
  • Prepare and trim models, apply die hardener and spacer, and set models on articulators.
  • Fabricate and adjust crowns, build and stain cases, and perform basic porcelain repairs.
  • Follow work ticket schedules and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered.
  • Knowledge of tooth anatomy, materials, and basic dental procedures preferred.
  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work with small tools.
Physical and Equipment Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and maneuver hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
  • Use of laboratory equipment such as grinders, lathes, and ovens.
Additional Details

The position offers full-time hours with benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, 401K, and tuition reimbursement. The role is classified as an internship with levels based on experience (Technician I, II, III). The work schedule is typically 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Fridays, subject to change.
