Job summary

National Dentex, a leading dental healthcare organization, is hiring for a Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position with paid hands-on training and no prior experience required.

Typical hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:00 AM–12:00 PM on Fridays. Full-time with benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, 401K with company contribution, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Model work for fixed and removable cases
• Processing
• Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards
• All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate according to Rx
• Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
• Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
