Job summary

National Dentex, LLC in Athens, TN is seeking a Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) trainee. This entry-level role offers hands-on, paid training and no prior experience required.

You will read prescriptions, model dentures and other appliances, and support processing, investing, and packing of dentures, partials, and night guards. Regular hours are Mon-Thu 8:00-5:00 and Fri 8:00-12:00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of tooth anatomy and Rx interpretation.
• Familiarity with denture materials like stones and acrylic.
• Ability to identify margins from impressions.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist.
• Model work for fixed and removable cases.
• Processing of denture components.
• Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model)opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:0 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Model work for fixed and removable cases
• Processing
• Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards
• All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate according to Rx
• Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
• Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent
