Job summary

National Dentex in Athens, TN is seeking a Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) for a trainee, no-experience role at the NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory. Hands-on, paid training is provided and you will work a Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule.

This full-time position includes benefits: health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance; holiday, vacation, sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Model work for fixed and removable cases
• Processing
• Investing and packing dentures, partials, night guards
• All other duties as assigned

Skills And Abilities Required

• Knowledge tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate according to Rx
• Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
• Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education And Experience Required

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician
• No experience required; we offer paid / on the job training
