Dental Lab Technician (Denture Finisher)

Description

National Dentex is a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry, with 50 labs nationwide. We are seeking qualified candidates for various positions, including this Dental Laboratory Technician role at NDX Lord's Dental Studio in De Pere, WI.

Job Details

The position hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential schedule adjustments. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holidays, vacation, sick leave; 401K with company match; and tuition reimbursement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Read prescriptions and specifications from dentists.
  • Receive training to produce bite rims, custom trays, relines, and model preparations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read, listen, comprehend, and execute written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Hazardous Materials and Equipment

  • Wet grinder, sharp tools/instruments, investment material, lathe, handpiece, boil-out, acrylic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Read and interpret prescriptions and documentation.
  • Effective communication of technical information.
  • Depth perception, attention to detail, and color vision.
