Job summary

University of Utah Health is seeking a part-time Dental Lab Technician in the School of Dentistry, Campus, Salt Lake City. The role focuses on fabrication and repair of dental prosthetics, including dentures, partials, crowns and bridges, with emphasis on quality, timely processing, and adherence to lab prescriptions.

You will collaborate with students and faculty, maintain production efficiency, and support education and research activities within the prosthodontics section.

Qualifications

• CAD/CAM design software and digital workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Prosthodontic team and promote effective communication among clinic disciplines.
• Work under minimal supervision.
• Maintain production at high range, including same-day relines and repairs.
• Proficient with computers; Windows experience is a plus for data entry/administrative tasks.
• Support production of denture, partial, crown and bridge work as needed.
• Assist with QA to assess quality of student work.
• Provide potential research support as part of the Section of Prosthodontics.
