Job summary

California Correctional Health Care Services seeks an Industrial Supervisor, Prison Industries (Dental Laboratory) at Folsom State Prison in Represa, CA. You will oversee the production and fabrication of dental prosthetic devices for incarcerated individuals within a correctional facility.

Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist and Prison Industries leadership, you will manage a dental laboratory team, ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with MOUs and department policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in fabrication of dental prosthetic products, with at least one year in a lead capacity over staff or inmates.
• Education may substitute for experience at two years of education equals one year of experience; two years of coursework in the operation.
• Experience in correctional facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and fabrication of dental prosthetics for incarcerated patients in a dental laboratory.
• Manage a laboratory team and ensure quality control, safety and compliance with department policies.
