Lab Assistant
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant.
We are Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, and we don't just give our patients amazing smiles—we give them confidence! Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but it is not required. Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate orthodontic appliances, including retainers and other custom appliances, using digital workflows and 3D printing technology.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers and related laboratory equipment.
- Trim, polish, finish, and inspect appliances to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Prepare models, materials, and lab cases accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked laboratory environment.
- Track lab cases and ensure appliances are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with orthodontists, assistants, and the administrative team to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Support other laboratory and clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental, orthodontic, laboratory, or 3D printing experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Comfortable learning and using digital technology and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
