Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental admin certification a plus.
• 1–2 years of dental insurance verification or front office experience preferred (training available).
• Strong communication skills and reliability; flexibility required.
• Experience with Dentrix dental software.
• Solid understanding of PPOs and Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the dental insurance verification process for all incoming patients.
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details with insurance carriers prior to appointments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records in the practice management software.
• Coordinate with billing and scheduling teams to resolve insurance discrepancies.
• Monitor verification workflows to ensure timely completion and minimize claim denials.

• Lead and oversee the dental insurance verification process for all incoming patients
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details with dental insurance carriers prior to appointments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records within the practice management software
• Coordinate with billing and scheduling teams to resolve insurance discrepancies
• Monitor verification workflows to ensure timely completion and minimize claim denials

Requirements:

• Candidates should have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of PPOs and Medicaid
• 1-2 years of dental insurance verification or dental front office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
• Reliability and flexibility are required
• Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix)
• Excellent communication and patient-facing customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to delegate and support a team in a busy dental office setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative certification a plus
