Job summary

Keystone Dental Care is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to support our growing dental practice. Duties include insurance verification, prior authorizations, scheduling, payment processing, and maintaining patient records while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Under the Director of Dental Care Services, you will help maintain efficient patient flow and assist the dental team in delivering high-quality care. This is a full-time on-site role with weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a dental office.
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans, prior authorizations, and insurance verification processes required.
• Experience maintaining patient records and using dental practice management software preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and providing exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient scheduling, payment processing, and maintaining accurate patient records while helping ensure a positive patient experience and efficient office operations. Working under the supervision of the Director of Dental Care Services, the Dental Insurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow, supporting administrative operations, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
