We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person, willing to be a part of our great team. We work 4 days a week-Mon-Thur, which provides a great family/work life balance. We are a close-knit team, where we enjoy working together as a team.
*PURPOSE OF THE POSITION*
Coordinate with insurance providers to verify dental coverage and determine patient co-pays and out of pocket expenses
Ensures coordination of benefits are accurate and considered as part of the financial planning.
Provide cost estimates and discuss payment options with patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment plans, financial agreements, and patient communications
Knowledge of dental coding
Communicate any changes or updates to the treatment plan to the appropriate staff members
Audit patient accounts
Serves as a liaison between insurance carriers, staff and patients to resolve any concerns and maintain a positive working relationship
Ensures all insurance related duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure excellent patient relations and financial success for the Practice
Respond efficiently to patient needs and inquiries
Other duties as assigned
*QUALITIES*
*1 year dental experience preferred*
High ethics/Integrity, Willing to train/expand your skills, positive attitude
Passionate about patients and patient care and co-workers
Strong communication skills
Able to think on your feet
Detail oriented
Can work well with staff ensuring completion of tasks while maintaining a spirit of camaraderie, fun and hard work with the best interest of the practice
