Job summary

Clove Dental in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Sterilization Technician I to join our clinical team. You will clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments per infection-control protocols; maintain sterilization areas, logs, and required testing per OSHA; stock operatories and labs; and assist with room turnover, non-clinical tasks, and patient flow while upholding HIPAA standards.

This role requires punctuality and teamwork in a fast-paced dental office.

Qualifications

• Clean and disinfect dental instruments per infection-control protocols.
• Maintain sterilization areas, logs, and required testing per OSHA standards.
• Stock operatories and labs with supplies and notify when inventory is low.
• Assist with room turnover and basic non-clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and store instruments according to infection-control protocols.
• Maintain sterilization areas, equipment, logs, and testing in accordance with OSHA and infection-control standards.
• Stock operatories, sterilization areas, and clinical supplies and notify the appropriate team member when inventory is running low.
• Turn over treatment rooms quickly and thoroughly between patients, including disinfecting surfaces and preparing rooms for the next procedure.
