Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a competency exam (Biological Monitors) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to four hours at a time.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and process/store instruments per Infection Control Guidelines, include weekly Biological monitoring and maintenance of sterilization equipment.
• Assist in restocking operatories, receive/ship dental lab cases, pour impressions and trim models, and clean lab equipment per Infection Control Guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, orderly laboratory and assist in cleaning operatories; monitor shipments of handpieces and perform routine maintenance; enter data in the dental information system.
