US Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System is recruiting a dental hygienist to provide preventive dental care and radiologic services at a Coleman, Florida facility. The role requires current licensure and compliance with radiologic certification standards, plus the ability to educate patients on oral health and preventive care.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, managing schedules and records, and performing radiographs as needed.

Competenze

• Must be licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in a U.S. state/territory or DC.
• Must meet credentialing standards for radiologic procedures under Public Law 97-35.
• Submit current, active license and proof of radiologic program completion with application.
• One year of specialized experience in oral prophylaxis and patient education.

Mansioni

• Assist with pre- and post-operative dental procedures, including sterilizing the operative environment.
• Perform administrative duties related to dental care, including scheduling patients, pulling and filing records, and documenting treatments.
• Assist with taking simple intra-oral dental radiographs.
