Position Details

• Perform licensed hygiene procedures, patient education, and manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist.
• Establish and maintain patient care relationships.
• Verify and document patient health history, educate patients on oral health, and explain procedures and services.
• Perform clinical hygiene functions such as x-rays, blood pressure measurement, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and assist with restorative treatments.
• Apply sealants, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
• Hold a dental hygiene certification from an accredited school and a current license.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training.
• Experience with dental software is preferred.
