Dental Hygienist with $5,000 Sign On Bonus

* $5,000 Sign On Bonus *

The dental hygienist is responsible for performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients, and managing the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist.

1. Establish and maintain ongoing patient care relationships.
2. Verify and document patient health history; educate patients about oral hygiene, health, disease, and available procedures and services.
3. Perform clinical hygiene functions such as exposing/evaluating diagnostic x-rays, taking and recording blood pressure, performing prophylaxis for adults and children, non-surgical periodontal therapy, and co-assessing restorative treatment options with the dentist.
4. Determine needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed.
5. Hold a dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
6. Maintain current hygiene license where employed.
7. Complete annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
8. Experience with dental software is preferred.
