Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Traveling Dental Hygienist for New Britain, CT and surrounding locations. Earn $45 - $70 per hour plus production pay, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and continuing education support.

You will perform scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride, and related procedures under general dentist supervision while traveling to listed CT offices.

Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license required.
• CPR/BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA with hands-on skills assessment required at hire.
• Willing and able to travel to listed CT locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application under supervision.
• Offer same-day care when possible to provide excellent service.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene.
• Assess dental condition and review medical history.
• Guide patients through the full treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts and follow all regulations.

What You'll Do As a Dental Hygienst

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as neededFollow all government regulations and company standards
