Job summary

Haywood Family Dentistry is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team from October 2026-- June 2027. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings and SRPs, and assist dentists with exams.

We would prefer full-time (M-Th), but a part-time schedule can be accommodated for a qualified applicant. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and options for part-time or full-time hours, along with a supportive team environment designed

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist licensure.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take x-rays.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
