Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry seeks a qualified Dental Hygienist to join our Triangle area practice. You will work closely with dentists to deliver preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and uphold high clinical standards in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in North Carolina.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (Associate's degree or certificate required).
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventative care.
• Conduct patient screenings, including medical history review and periodontal charting.
• Take dental radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide oral cancer screenings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and disease prevention.
• Accurately document patient care in electronic records.
• Review and explain treatment plans and associated fees with patients.
• Communicate patient conditions and concerns with the dentist.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and sterilization standards.
• Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed.
