Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in the Triangle area is growing and seeking Registered Dental Hygienists to join our full-time team across Raleigh, Cary, Apex and surrounding communities. You will work closely with dentists to deliver preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and document care in electronic records in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Typical schedules include Monday–Thursday 7:45 AM–4:00 PM and Friday 7:45 AM–2:00 PM (varies by location); we offer a

Qualifications

• NC Dental Hygienist license required.
• Accredited Dental Hygiene program completed (Associate's degree or certificate).
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance standards.
• Flexible, positive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventative care.
• Conduct patient screenings, including medical history review and periodontal charting.
• Take dental radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide oral cancer screenings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and disease prevention.
• Accurately document patient care in electronic records.
• Review and explain treatment plans and associated fees with patients.
• Communicate patient conditions and concerns with the dentist.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and sterilization standards.
• Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed.
