Job summary

Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is hiring a Dental Hygienist for the Center Dental Clinic in Center, CO. The role includes prophylaxis, periodontal care, radiography, and patient education. You will maintain accurate EHR documentation and support infection control.

Qualifications

• Colorado license to practice dental hygiene.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
• 1–2 years of clinic experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis and periodontal treatments including scaling, root planing, and curettage.
• Apply topical fluorides; educate patients on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Screen patients with caries detection, periodontal assessment, and medical history review.
• Take, process, and mount dental radiographs per ALARA guidelines.
• Administer local anesthetics and assist with periodontal procedures.
• Provide gross debridement for acute periodontal conditions and document in EHR.
• Sterilize instruments, disinfect operatories, and follow OSHA/TJC standards.
