Job summary

Little Rock Family Dental Care in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our established practice. You will work with a supportive team, deliver prophylaxis, radiographs, nitrous oxide, and patient education to ensure comfort and excellent care.

The ideal candidate holds an Arkansas Dental Hygienist license with Local Anesthesia, CPR, and ADA-accredited program completion; experience preferred. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Arkansas.
• Local Anesthesia license required.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of dental software and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments.
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealant application, and fluoride treatments.
• Administer nitrous oxide.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols.
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
• Assist with scheduling and other patient care needs as necessary.
