Job summary

Fidalgo Island Dental - Anacortes is seeking a personable dental hygienist to join our team in Washington. You will welcome patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. CPR certification and licensure are required, with an associate degree mandatory and a bachelor’s/master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located.
• Associate degree is required; Bachelor's/Master's is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Physically able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Minimum 1 year of dental hygiene work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dentists to determine the best treatment for various dental diseases.
• Thoroughly clean teeth and apply fluoride or sealants.
• Identify issues like gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries for prompt care.
• Use x-ray machines to capture images for diagnosis of issues.
• Conduct initial screenings to understand patient oral health histories.
