Job summary

Toledo Periodontics is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team and deliver exceptional patient care in a modern practice. You will perform hygiene procedures, take radiographs, and collaborate closely with the attending dentist to implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the respective state.
• Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
• Exceptional knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures and patient screening.
• Any additional certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of concierge care with excellent chairside manners and patient rapport.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take x-rays and intraoral images to assist in treatment planning and note progress.
• Perform hygienist duties aligned with dentist-prescribed treatment plans.
• Handle emergency measures during patient treatment.
• Provide at-home care and oral health maintenance instructions.

• Monday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Working as a Hygienist with us:

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Providing a high level of concierge care with exceptional chair side manners, building trust with our patients.
• Enhancing overall oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Thoroughly documenting and reviewing detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Taking x-rays and intraoral images to aide in treatment planning and note any progress/changes.
• Conducting precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist.
• Proficiently handle emergency measures in response to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in respective state
• Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
• Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, encompassing dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
