PGS Dentistry in Marysville, Michigan is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team in a fast-paced clinical setting with long-term growth potential.

You will perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, take digital X-rays, educate patients, maintain records, and ensure sterility per OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
• Valid RDH license preferred.
• Valid Anesthesia Certification preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsabilités

• Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planing.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos; perform oral cancer screenings and blood pressure checks.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records including periodontal charting and treatment plans.
• Ensure instruments are sterilized and rooms disinfected per OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Pay

• $38 - $42 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
• Licensure: Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Preferred).
• Certifications: Valid Anesthesia Certification (Preferred).
• Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Description

• Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planing.
• Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos; perform oral cancer screenings and blood pressure checks.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, the link between oral and systemic health, and post-treatment care.
• Charting: Maintain accurate and timely electronic patient records, including periodontal charting and treatment plans.
• Sterilization: Ensure all instruments are sterilized and treatment rooms are disinfected according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
