Job description

We are looking for a Hygienist to join our team at Golden Peak Dental!

We're committed to providing modern, conservative care to all our patients, while making them feel like they're right at home. Our team helps patients feel confident in their smiles and builds lasting, meaningful relationships.

Location:

Lakewood, CO 80401

Compensation:

$50-$60/hour Depending on Experience

Schedule:

Monday + Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday and Thursday 7-4

Job responsibilities/duties:

• Sterilizing instruments
• Taking x-rays and intraoral photos
• Scheduling patients
• Dental charting and coding
• Developing and presenting treatment plans
• Collaborating with Dentist on treatment recommendations and assisting when necessary
• Educating patients on treatment and dental hygiene
• Performing hygiene procedures tailored to each patient diagnosis such as prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and periodontal maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow-up calls
• Stocking supplies and maintaining equipment
• Accurately documenting and maintaining Patient Health Information
• Collaborating with team members

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from ADA Accredited Dental Hygiene Program
• Current state licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Adaptability
