Dental Hygienist

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive, community-based healthcare. We are expanding our dental services in Houghton, NY and are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

Salary and Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $40 - $48 (based on experience)
  • Health Insurance: Employer offers a 100% employer-paid medical plan
  • Dental and Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability: Employer-paid (LTD covers 60% of wages if unable to work for six months or more)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive dental care including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
  • Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene
  • Assist in treatment planning by working closely with the dentist and dental team
  • Take dental X-rays as needed
  • Document patient visits and treatment plans in the eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Support community outreach initiatives focused on improving dental health awareness

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York as a Dental Hygienist
  • CPR certification required
