Bright Now! Dental in Gresham, OR is seeking a Dental Hygienist who cares about patient well-being and prevention. You’ll practice at the top of your scope, educate patients and collaborate with a close dental team to personalize care.

New graduates are welcome and will receive mentorship and ongoing professional development with Smile Brands. Schedule: M/Tu 8am-5pm, with a supportive, stable practice culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist or eligible to become licensed in the state of practice.
• New graduates are welcome!
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient care, education and prevention.
• Commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.
• A collaborative, positive approach to working with patients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive dental hygiene care using evidence-based protocols.
• Perform appropriate assessments, diagnostics and preventive treatments within your scope of practice.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and create a welcoming, judgment-free experience.
• Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to identify patient needs and personalize treatment.
• Stay current with dental technologies, instruments and best practices that enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and compliance standards.
