Job summary

PFH Preferred Family Healthcare in Hannibal, MO is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive and clinical care. You'll work Monday–Friday, promote preventive dental health, and engage in community initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Dental Hygiene degree, be licensed in Missouri, and possess excellent patient education skills. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and retirement savings plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Hygiene.
• Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Missouri.
• Current CPR certification.
• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene phases, equipment, instruments, and materials.
• Strong patient education skills in preventive dentistry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and educate patients.
• Apply topical fluorides and screen for oral health issues.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care through radiographs and scaling.
• Assist with periodontal surgeries when qualified.
• Document patient medical and dental histories accurately.
• Support and mentor dental assistants.
• Participate in community oral health initiatives.
• Assist with additional duties to support clinic operations.
