MVHC in Zanesville, OH is hiring a Dental Hygienist (FT - Float) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide preventive dental hygiene services, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to improve community oral health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
• Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• FTCA coverage or private professional malpractice insurance obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oral hygiene and preventive services to dental patients.
• Record patient-hygienist transactions in the dental record.
• Provide oral health education and counseling to patients.
• Administer clinical hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, sealants and fluoride per professional standards.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Comply with all regulatory and center safety policies and procedures.
