Job summary

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a dental hygienist to support preventive care across our nonprofit FQHC locations in Ohio. You will coordinate patient intake, prepare operatory, and perform prophylaxis for both adults and children.

You’ll take radiographs, monitor vital signs, assess oral health, and perform scaling, fluoride, sealants, and recall visits. States license requirements apply; full-time, part-time, and PRN roles available. Training and strong support provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ADA accredited dental hygiene school.
• Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist by the Ohio Board of Dental Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient intake and prep for exam functions.
• Prepare dental operatory for procedures.
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis.
• Take vital signs and radiographs as needed.
• Assess dental decay, chart DMF, evaluate OHI.
• Complete scaling and root planing, topical fluoride, sealants, and recall procedures.
