Job summary

DENTALWORKS is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team and help patients maintain bright smiles. You’ll perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and fluoride applications while educating patients on oral hygiene and nutrition.

Collaborating with the dentist(s) in your office, you’ll support a robust recall program, uphold HIPAA compliance, and mentor by our hygiene support team. We offer strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and fluoride and sealant applications.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and periodontal health, and update records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist.
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act.
