Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our team in Texas. You’ll perform preventive dental procedures, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help design personalized care plans to support optimal smiles.

Collaborating with dentists and our hygiene support team, you’ll deliver high-quality care, maintain accurate records in HIPAA-compliant systems, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
• Ability to travel between locations preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealant applications
• Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient’s periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act
