A leading pediatric hospital in Columbus is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to provide innovative oral health care to patients aged birth to 21 years. This role involves performing clinical procedures, engaging in patient education, and collaborating with a diverse healthcare team to enhance children's health. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in dental hygiene backed by appropriate licensure and a commitment to community health education.
Provides oral health care, dental health education and remediable intraoral procedures to patients in the hospital clinic, i.e. infants, children, adolescents and selected adults as prescribed by the dentist. Demonstrates competence defined (*) in Dental Hygienist responsibilities providing age-appropriate care and service to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and selected adults.
