Job description

Visiting Ancillary Services was founded in April 2010, as a 501(c)3 Non- Profit Charity. We provide full-service programs to over 130+ facilities. We deliver the finest outreach programs to residents, and we believe each resident should leave us with a smile and a happy demeanor.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures residents feel as comfortable as possible before their examination.
  • Sterilizes dental instruments properly.
  • Conducts initial mouth screenings and checks oral health history.
  • Identifies conditions like gingivitis, cavities, or periodontitis.
  • Cleans and helps protect residents' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride).
  • Educates residents of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques).
  • Give instructions to residents after operations or other dental procedures.
  • Assists dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer).
  • Maintains documentation and charts on each resident.
Requirements:
  • Valid Colorado Dental Hygienist License.
  • Proven experience as Dental Hygienist.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA).
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Travels to facilities daily.

Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour.
