Job Responsibilities

• Promote dental health through prophylaxis, screenings, radiographs, and charting in compliance with the Dental Practice Act
• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping
• Provide information and answer patient questions
• Maintain and sterilize instruments
• Select materials based on patient oral health
• Perform prophylaxis to clean teeth and beneath gums
• Detect disease via screenings, exams, and radiographs
• Apply fluorides and cavity-preventing agents to arrest decay

Job Requirements

• Active dental hygiene license in KS
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality
