Position Summary

The Dental Hygienist provides preventive oral care, including periodontal therapy and non-surgical gum disease treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical hygiene functions: x-rays, oral cancer screening, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on preventive care and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate digital documentation.
• Sterilize instruments and secure patient information in compliance with HIPAA.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Registered Dental Hygienist License.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
