Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct dental hygiene assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
2. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
3. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed
4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
5. Take and develop dental x-rays
6. Maintain accurate patient records and charting
7. Assist the dentist with procedures as needed
