Job summary

Smile Dental Group is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our private practice dedicated to patient care and education. We value team collaboration and a welcoming environment where each patient’s oral health plan is tailored to their needs.

You'll perform periodontal procedures, educate patients on preventing disease, and document findings to support the dentist in developing effective treatment plans. A family-friendly schedule and modern tech support a positive work experience.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both the team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner best for the patient in accordance with state dental board requirements.
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease and maintain oral health.
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan.
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment.
