About Dental Care at Belmont

Dental Care at Belmont, like all Heartland Dental supported offices, is unique to its community and patients. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained onsite team, and a vast network of experts nationwide, you’ll be fully connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience.
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
  • Additional clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
  • Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
