Job summary

Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure is required.

- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dentistry safety guidelines.
- Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and make them comfortable.
- Discuss and explain the dental care plan to patients.
- Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
- Take vital signs and record medical histories.
- Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
- Evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection.
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
- Teach good oral hygiene techniques to patients.
- Create dental impressions.
- Take X-rays and assist dentists during procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
