Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is hiring a Dental Hygienist to deliver preventive and periodontal care in a modern studio setting with an assistant, under our Assisted Hygiene model.

You will perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and oral cancer screenings, educate patients, and support same-day treatments. Collaboration with dentists and strong patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited dental hygiene degree and active license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with digital charting, x-rays, and intraoral cameras preferred.
• Demonstrate trustworthiness, adaptability, teamwork, and a patient-centric approach.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal care in a modern studio setting, supported by a dedicated dental assistant within our Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. Your responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, patient education, and supporting same-day treatments. You'll collaborate with dentists, manage patient relationships through clear communication, and contribute to a team-focused environment. Ongoing professional development through CE and peer collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications & Skills

Must have an accredited dental hygiene degree, active license, and current CPR/BLS certification. Experience with digital charting, x-rays, and intraoral cameras is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate trustworthiness, adaptability, teamwork, and a patient-centric approach. Physical ability to perform hygiene procedures and communicate effectively is essential.
