Qualifications

• Active state hygiene license is required.

• Delivering comprehensive treatments such as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, gingivitis management, oral cancer screenings, sealants, whitening, fluoride applications, and patient education.
• Collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize patient flow, manage sterilization, and support documentation.
• Partnering with dentists for hygiene exams and treatment planning based on patient needs.
• Driving hygiene production by maximizing chair time and supporting same-day treatments.
• Maintaining strong patient relationships through clear communication and personalized education.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through CE opportunities and peer collaboration.

Qualifications And Skills

• Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program and active state hygiene license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; anesthesia/nitrous license if applicable.
• Comfort with digital charting, x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care.
• Manual dexterity, good vision, and ability to perform extended periods of sitting and reaching.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
