Dental Hygienist

Universal Dental Center is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - 7:45am - 6:00pm, Friday 7:45am - 2:00pm, and 1 Saturday a month - 7:45am - 2:00pm.

About Universal Dental Center

Each Heartland Dental-supported office is unique to its community. With a practice manager, a trained onsite team, and a vast network of resources, you’ll be fully supported.

  • Join a 22-person team that values collaboration, communication, and community.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
  • Knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic health records.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions.
  • TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment.
