Job summary

Walla Walla Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Washington. You will provide preventive dental hygiene services, screenings, and patient education while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

As a member of our clinical team, you will work with doctors and staff to maintain patient health, apply the latest hygiene techniques, and participate in continuing education opportunities within Heartland Dental’s network.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
  • CPR Certification.

Minimum Qualifications

Current dental hygienist license in Washington State and a n Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentationCPR Certification

Preferred Experience

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systemsDesire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental healthClinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
