Whitney Point Dental is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our small, patient-focused family practice. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures.

State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist is required; experience is preferred. Our office emphasizes a low-stress environment with no daily quotas or sales expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Current Dental Hygienist licensure.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines.
• Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have.
• Prep sterilized equipment.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque (by completion of scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, or dental prophylaxis).
• Apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take x-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
