Luxe Dental Care, a family owned dental practice on Kent Island, MD, is seeking a Dental Hygienist (Full Time). We were voted best dentist and best cosmetic dentist in 2025; we aim to provide high quality care in a friendly, luxurious environment.

The Hygienist will perform cleanings, exams, radiographs, education, periodontal charting, and assist the dentist. Requirements include a Dental Hygiene diploma, active license and X-ray certification, plus strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Dental Hygiene diploma or degree and valid license to practice.
• X-ray certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing

Job Description

We are seeking an individual with high energy, great communication skills and a can-do attitude. The Hygienist plays an integral role in the practice, he/she will perform a number of clinical and customer service-related duties. The duties and responsibilities of dental assistant are as follows:

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and education to patients
• Perform periodontal charting and assessments
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures as needed

Requirements

Work Schedule

• Mon to Thursday: 9 AM to 5 PM
• Friday : 9 AM - 3 PM (optional)
